Frequently asked questions
Q: What sets you apart from other photographers?
A: I offer a relaxed & fun approach to your photography; so many of my wedding couples find me because I photographed their friends’ or family’s weddings & the comments are always that everybody enjoyed having their photograph taken on the day. There’s no shouting at guests to form orderly lines, I need them on side so that they’re smiling! I like to spend 30 minutes or so alone with the two of you on the day, getting some natural portraits whilst you’re relaxed & then in the evening… that’s the time for some epic night shots if the weather, location & timings allow!
Q: How many photographers will be there at our wedding?
A: The wedding package includes one photographer, although you can always add a second photographer for an additional cost if you would like.
Q: Do you bring spare equipment?
A: Absolutely; I wouldn’t dream of travelling without a spare camera & lenses; this is what sets us apart as professionals. I use different lenses throughout the day to cover a range of angles to get the best shots & craft the story of your day. Having the right equipment means that I can get the variety of shots that you want with minimal disruption.[/red_one_half]
Q: We’re having a destination wedding. Do you travel?
A: Yes! We love to travel & have been lucky enough to shoot weddings in Ibiza, the Bahamas, Barcelona, Paphos, Austria & Rhodes… The usual package is still offered, we just ask that you cover the cost of flights, baggage, accommodation & expenses.
Q: How long before we can see the photos?
A: I aim to have all of your edited & retouched photographs available in a private online gallery for you within three weeks of your wedding; you can generally expect around 400 final images for you to proof ahead of us creating your 30 page album. A full PDF of the album will be sent to you for approval prior to printing.
Q: Can we meet you before we book?
A: Yes of course! I have a fantastic home office in Richmond, North Yorkshire & my daughter bakes scrummy cookies! It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better, you can see sample albums, we’ll chat through your big day & any ideas you have too. If you can’t make it to the office, then Skype is the next best alternative.[/red_one_half]
